The Museum has Permanent Exhibition Rooms and Special Exhibition Rooms. The Permanent Exhibition Rooms are divided into a comprehensive one and classified ones.

Permanent Exhibition Rooms
Rooms for history,the Kuroda Memorial Room, arts and crafts, archaeology and folk art comprise the Permanent Exhibition Rooms (Classified). Centering around the collections of the Museum, the displays are regularly changed. The displays here are intended to be extentions of the displays at the Permanent Exhibition Room (Comprehensive), with individual themes more deeply explored.

Special Exhibitions
Special exhibitions are held in the Special Exhibition Room on the 2nd floor, on the right of the stairs from the Grand Hall. In addition to the exhibitions organized by this museum, many visiting exhibitions on history and culture organized by various sponsors are shown in this room on a limited-time basis.
